Two portraits

I’ve been experimenting with oil pastels and this medium is amazing if you use a good product. I’ve tried several brands over the years, like Van Gogh and Sennelier but was unable to find the right balance between high-pigment load and smooth application. What I like about Mungyo Gallery pastels is that they are firm enough to use the as an actual oil pastel, not as oil paint.
